Another update
5 days gone in a puff.
Back at work once more.
Had lunch with Dennis at VivoCity's Imperial Herbal Restaurant last Friday.
Cost a whooping 500-odd buckaroos. Pocket burnt again this month despite the PH allowances.
Well, gotta admit the food was pretty good though.
NeuNeu's gonna bring me there again soon.. Or so he claims.
Erhem.. I still haven't gotten my home-made Payasam and Rasagulla..
Saturday, was get-everything-done day.
Banking at Kovan, booking at Rivervale.. all completed!
All we have to do is to await the confirmation tomorrow.
We got a nasty shock when Mommy did something really evil.
Muahaha.
It all ended with Chelsea winning the match against Manchester United.
And so, our gut feeling helped us win something to feed Pitt-Pitt with.
Sunday was Shirley's newborn daughter's 1st month at Serangoon.
The usual crowd, but this time Gerald & Deborah brought their son along as well.
No pix tentatively.
*Yeah*

Tuesday
It's been a busy week.
Will be out of office for 6days from 16th May to 21st May. Lots of plans in line.
Nope, travels won't be till 25th May.
Going back to Ipoh for Ming Tat's wedding, as well as drop by my gramp's for a visit. Lots of discussion going on about the construction of the new house. Tearing away the mini-farm for more room space, plus relocating the main door from the riverside to the main road. Lots to look forward to.
NeuNeu declined the invitation to be with us on this trip. Don't say i never ask hor. Even my dad also extended the invitation to u. Never mind, u can stay in Singapore to accompany my bro. Muahahah.
Alright, here's the links to the pix as promised.
A great week ahead for all!

Weekstart update
Greetings dear readers,
Haven't been able to speedily upload all the Bangkok pictures as promised over the event-packed weekend.
Here's a preview of some events over the weekend.
We brought Pitt-Pitt to the Zoo for a reunion with his family..
Here's Pitt-Pitt with the Babirusa (pig-deer).
We recognize him as a slightly different species, pig-dear :P
Later in the evening, we had our human version of reunion.
Advance Mother's Day celebration @ Gombak for NeuNeu's Po-Po (not in picture)
Here's a snap of Gong-Gong, Auntie, NeuNeu
All the buzz has got me looking forward to the celebration for mommy this weekend!
Dreamt of an argument with NeuNeu over a keychain on Saturday night.
A quick check over the internet says:
"If you are quarrelling or arguing in your dream you may be experiencing some inner conflict. The quarrel may reflect your own inability to resolve important issues, ideas or values. Most likely, you may be experiencing ongoing difficulty with making decision, cannot accept authority, or you may have carried an argument from your daily life into your dream.
Very old dream interpretation books say that quarrelling is a dream of the contrary and that you will have peace and harmony with your loved ones."
I sure hope the old interpration books are accurate!
Anyways, complete set of pictures to be by next week.. hopefully..
Meanwhile, here's the link to the fragmentary Bangkok compilation
Album
Same old words to wrap up..
Check back again for location of the albums

May 03, 2007
26.04.2007 - 30.04.2007 Bangkok
we're back.
second day back in the office already.
yea, u heard me right.
"DAY"
it's been like 3 months since i've last woke up at 5am, scramble in the darkness, scurrying in madness to the bus stop standing at least 1km away.
thankfully i have NeuNeu accompanying me these two days. think "u'll never walk alone" a la mode de Liverpool. speaking of which, family n friends (nasty ones) have been sharing with, or rather taunting, me news of Liverpool thrashing Chelsea.
disclaimer: i already made myself clear i support Chelsea morally but the bets go to Liverpool, not that i bet anyway. besides the wager i had with NeuNeu over lunch, i had clean forgotten about it. so do not come hampering me for treats.
back to the subject on Bangkok (BKK). first couple of days were designated for sightseeing. after umpteen visits to BKK, yet this is the first time i am actually touring the place. popped by places like Wat Pho, Wat Arun, Erawan Shrine, Shrine of Tubtim, Jim Thompson House etc, definitely not forgetting lots of shopping in the malls, weekend markets, wholesale markets.
we highly recommend Shanghai Inn, situated in the heart of Yaowaraj (Chinatown), should u decide to visit n stayover in BKK. other than the restaurant renowned sharks fin n bird's nest, other highlights within Chinatown include Sampeng lane, Pahurat textile market, the covered market lane between Ratchawong n Mahachak Roads.
u could also patronize one of the roadside stalls, like we did, for dinner.
i was forced to, initially. i was pretty much against eating along the roadside. just imagine the amount of dirt n dust flying all over when vehicles zoom past. being the typical pampered hygiene freak bundled with the throat inflammation n cough brought over from Singapore, i showed him a black face throughout.
look at him, he can still wolf down all the seafood!
it's easy to see why diet books hardly make it to the bestsellers in Singapore.
enough for today.
check back shortly for the pictures.
