back to day shift
back to days of early waking & sleeping, training-squeezing, lunching out for the next 4 weeks

attended project meetings with NeuNeu on both Thursday & Friday at Angie's place at Telok Blangah. how could i ever miss the chance to "contribute to the economy" at VivoCity since it's just across the road?

but becoz work ended on Thursday morning, we snoozed till late afternoon before we were headed to Vivo. had dinner at White Dog Cafe accompanied by shopping afterwards.

Friday was slightly more eventful:

started with meeting Jenn & Qing for lunch (.. and hot gossips);
Mr Hu for skin analysis at Dermalogica and buying my Biotherm stuff;
then headed for shopping at VivoCity whilst waiting for NeuNeu..;

then it's off to Angie's house.

are u going to make me a wabbit with a wardrobe?
.. and and and bed plus table..
p/s: table must come with 2 chairs so 2 wabbits can have a tea party!

Mid-2007

didn't realized it's already halfway through 2007 until i saw Milda's MSN message.
woosh, it's been 6 months since the year started.

Aly's in Cameron Highlands n should be back tomorrow!
i hope she didn't ta bao the strawberries she plucked over there.
*crosses fingers*

haven't had the chance to visit Cameron yet, was planning for either Cameron or Perhentian, until Alex n Penelope proposed the Vietnam trip. heard that we'll be visiting Dalat, a highland area, as well while we're in HCMC next month.
so keep ur eyes peeled for more info n pix when i return!


it's the last night for the week n i'm feeling drained. off tomorrow, finally. we'll be heading to Angie's house in the evening though. a decent dinner at VivoCity, perhaps.

catching up with Qing & Jenn on Friday.
shall we have Fish n Co for lunch?
then it's meeting Mr Hu for our yao gui session.
in summary, it'll be skin care day to rescue my poor face.

should everything go as planned, Saturday's museum day!
no concrete plans of which museum to visit yet. but i do have something in mind already. no hints!

Another week

off days' gone again
a mad week ahead, with this being the start of my 5-day frenzy.

Thursday was my sleep-in day to recover my long-lost beauty sleep.
Friday was my shopping date with Aly. a disaster. her instigation had me relent to the temptation of paying 75 bucks for that Zara top. i almost fell for the same trap at Topshop. almost.

headed to Kinokuniya after browsing (and gossiping) in various shops. Dalai Lama's Little Book of Wisdom. a great book. no regrets on that, totally. hope NeuNeu enjoys it.

the wet weather certainly didn't dampen our spirits that day.
oh, we bumped into Bern at Tampines. he's got a second outlet at Cineleisure. check it out sometime.

Friday night was movie night. caught Fantastic Four with bro & NeuNeu at Tampines Mall. the humane side of a seemingly inhuman being. just makes me wonder how some human beings can be so inhumane though. ho hum.

it's decided.
though we've been spending quite abit on traveling since April, namely Bangkok, Perak, Bintan (plus lotsa of buying in JB), we will still be heading to Vietnam next month.

A breather..

taking a moment off from work to update a little.

been busy since my off day on Thursday.
NeuNeu had his assignment completed n submitted on Friday n i took the chance to meet up with Alecia at Tampines Mall while he was away for class in town. my first decent meal of the week at Crystal Jade since my declining appetite. we were pretty undecided on where to eat, so we picked the one with the hunkiest waiter.

of course that's not the case!
hung out a little till NeuNeu returned from class then we're headed back home.

paid Ah Po a visit on Saturday at Jurong. NeuNeu's auntie fed us to the brim with lotsa yummy food! meanwhile, i spared no chance in teasing the birdies in the living room n ran away when they started shouting (in bird language, that is). it was late by the time we left so plans to go to JB was postponed n we headed to West Mall instead. busted out that day. i can't even remember if we bought anything.

but we definitely had a fruitful trip on our visit to JB. picked some cheap bargains (still suffering from the aftermath of that disastrous meal at Vivocity), had some snacks at Season's, grabbed my mags as usual n rushed back to Woodlands for Loh Wei's birthday gathering. more eating at Sakae Sushi then had a KTV session at Civic Plaza.

the memories of my 21st birthday has passed me by. so far.
but not as far as NeuNeu.. muahaha..

oh, did i mention i got locked out of the room on Sunday morning after i was made to wash up after brekkie. he hid a present in the mouldy suitcase which i had forced him to discard the night before.

Joke: Deaf Genie

A man walks into a bar with a paper bag. He sits down and places the bag on the counter.

The bartender walks up and asks what's in the bag. The man reaches into the bag and pulls out a little man, about one foot high, and sets him on the counter. He reaches back into the bag and pulls out a small piano, setting it on the counter as well. He reaches into the bag once again and pulls out a tiny piano bench, which he places in front of the piano. The little man sits down at the piano and starts playing a beautiful piece by Mozart!

Where on earth did you get that?" says the bartender. The man responds by reaching into the paper bag. This time he pulls out a lamp. He hands it to the bartender and says..."Here. Rub it." So the bartender rubs the lamp, and suddenly there's a gust of smoke and a beautiful genie is standing before him. "I will grant you one wish. Just one wish...each person is allowed only one!" The bartender gets really excited. Without hesitating he says, "I want a million bucks!"

A few moments later, a duck walks into the bar. It is soon followed by another duck, then another. Pretty soon, the entire bar is filled with ducks and they keep coming! The bartender turns to the man and says, "Y'know, I think your genie's a little deaf...I asked for a million bucks, not a million ducks."


"Tell me about it!!" says the man... "Do you really think I asked for a 12 inch pianist?"

Last week of May

The week has passed quickly since my return from Teluk Intan, Perak.
In summary, lotsa people, snacking, heat, fun and scurrying around. Now, it's the time of the month when I'm down with flu again. Got my nose all red and sore from all the rubbing. A quick check on events for the week.

Monday
Mommy & I visited the Food Expo at, of course, the Singapore Expo.

Tuesday
Was back at work with Neeraja & Steve.
Busy, busy, busy.
Thoroughly glad it's over and NeuNeu came to fetch me after work.

Wednesday
Packed the room a little (it's high time I did that!).
Started to feel terribly sick in the afternoon and NeuNeu rushed over after class to check on me.
Sssh.. Don't tell him I wolfed down the entire tub of Mint Choc Chip ice-cream. The darn weather is just too blardy torturous.

Thursday
Fought the crowd for prayers at Waterloo Street. Had lunch at Koo Kee and did a little shopping for karaoke mixer before heading home for mahjong. It's been awhile since we did a little "dry swimming".
