CNY Preparation Part I - 林志源 Lim Chee Guan 肉干 Bah-Kwa

Queued for the renowned 林志源 Lim Chee Guan 肉干 bah-kwa at Chinatown this morning after work.
Arrived shortly after 7.30am and guess what?
We queued for 4 hours!!!

Last year wasn't as bad, probably because we went more than a week before CNY.
But we couldn't go that early this year because we were away on the trip. As with last year, we made a trip down about a month before CNY to buy some to "kill" the craving. But it's always on the "actual" trip nearing CNY that we buy more as gifts.

Yeah, everyone says we're crazy :P
Ask anyone in the queue and they'll tell u otherwise.
It's definitely worth the time and effort. Apart from the tastier-than-usual and pricier-than-normal barbecue sliced meat, we really think it's the thought and sincerity.
Though i must admit the queue drives me nuts.

But it's pretty rare that we queue for anything anyway, and this happens only once a year.

One task down.
CNY grocery shopping will be tomorrow morning after work.

Oh well, I guess I'll just leave the dentist and hairstylist appointment after the festive.
