Lazy off days

had a department dinner treat from Beng yesterday.

food was pretty ok, but we got to spend a good amount of time chatting and crapping.

Benson sent me back to mr ma's place afterwards.

mr ma has had a long, tiring day at the 2nd day of some course his workplace sent him.

i was told he went through a refresher on unarmed combat techniques during the day.

since he was too tired to even lift a finger, i decided not to prob him too much on it. and here i am, in the office still curious (and kaypo) about it.

impressive huh?

anyways, mr ma and i were at the Chinese sinseh (Siah Ah Cheok at Upper Paya Lebar Road) on Sunday with Boon.

so far, the backache hasn't recurred, let's hang on a few days and see if it's for good.

after having our lunch of chicken rice balls, we went over to Toa Payoh for the annual Philip's Carnival Sale, and got ourselves a hair dryer, steam iron and an electric shaver for him!

caught up with Angie and Zen in Orchard later on.

went by to Cartier to pick up our rings, but apparently my ring still doesn't fit properly, so we re-ordered a smaller size to be collected another 1 - 2 months later. ho hum.

dinner was settled at Crystal Jade, then followed by dessert at Heeren's Dessert Story.

stopped by Tampines interchange, after dropping my bro off, to jalan a bit at the pasar malam then headed home.
