as the night slowly unfolds
sadness finds its way unto me
i can't tell what it is for sure either
perhaps i still can't believe everything
all that goodness happening to me recently
would it be abiding or could it just be transient
feel miserable when the going gets tough &
feel miserable when everything is smooth-sailing
ah, i'm a confused individual with a perplexity on happiness
