the fever's subsided a little, finally

thanks to the "cooling" desserts made by my mom
and the fever patch with compliments from my bro


had a difficult time falling asleep,
though the aircon was on,
it was still terribly warm


face it, i am HOT
.. at least literally..


was telling Momo that i used to have fever of close to 42 degrees,
and that probably fried my brain,
which she insisted i didn't have much to start with

herhrr


have got a volunteer event this afternoon at Aljunied
am still contemplating if i should.. or rather.. could go
what if i pass my flu n fever to the old folks?

i suppose i would go,
but if i don't feel well enough i'd request to leave early..


deli called me early this morning wanting to meet for breakfast,
had turned him down coz i barely slept for 2 hours,
though i did have the craving for a chicken bun since last night's SMS conversation with Momo

all i want to say is..

have a super fun & crazy day ahead!

meeting deli 3.45pm for shopping @ suntec
meeting mr hu 7.00pm for movie @ cine
meeting ds


mr hu had to book me one week in advance coz i always fly his kite
it's his turn today to fly my kite
luckily i just called him to confirm
the poor thing, worked till 7am this morning

have a good rest, babe!



movie appreciation can always wait!

had a long n busy day since 7am yesterday morning

was in JB with 三姨, 三姨丈 n regina















we had our usual rounds of scrumptious foodie,
had our fortunes told at a local shrine,
n did grocery shopping

lots of yummy meals,

dim sum @ 10am
bitter gourd spread @ 2pm
seafood dinner, Changi @ 7pm



on top of that i just had noodles for supper (with compliments from Ds) @ 3am!

yay


well, back to the topic,
in total i only spent MYR 80,
mainly on tidbits, contact lens n some DVDs


was hoping to drop by City Square to get my monthly dose of Milk magazines,
but well, guess i wasn't in luck coz they wanted to avoid the traffic jam at the causeway,
will probably pop by again next Sunday when Ds goes for his client's birthday celebration.

MINT museum of toys

went to the Mint Museum of Toys with mr hu after our prayers


wonderful, wonderful place with a spectacular array of toys dating as far back as a century ago
i love the dolls by michael lee (micale) n the vivid expressions drawn lovingly by its creator


the architecture of the entire museum is amazing too
(done by mr hu's previous company)
costing a *gasp* SGD 4 million *gasp* on the infrastructure alone

not to mention the collection of toys which cost USD 300 n above each



according to our friendly curator, Richard,
the displays are re-arranged n updated every 3 months,
while major shuffles take place approximately every 6 months

entrance fee starts from SGD 5 for children between 2 - 12 years old
and SGD 10 for adults

met up with Sam 宝贝 during her lunch @ Tampines Mall


finally get to have a good chat with her after so long

supposed to meet up with her n alvin again at night,
but alvin's still not back from redang yet

haven't seen alvin in a long time too,
think the last time was at 宝贝's house on her birthday.



well well, we'll have a chance again soon!


anyway, had a dinner celebration @ Long Beach
it's my brother's birthday.

just ended our primary school gathering


think it's been a pretty fruitful year for catching up
we have met up quite a few times for primary school alone


but have yet to catch up with my KTV khakis from secondary school
due to unforeseen, as well as predicted, circumstances

well, back to the topic
we had dinner at Waraku in marina square
and bummed around till we decided on playing pool


shortly after jeremy arrived
we decided to head back to Tampines for coffee
poor jeremy kept complaining that we cheated him

hehe


so the 5 of us (kexin, yiqiang, wenzheng, minxun n myself)
headed back to Tampines
Ying & Daosong joined us later on


let's not mention about the B3 joke ya.

Another night out

after flying his kite for numerous times,
i finally met up with Mr Hu for the long-agreed movie watching session.

fantastic show, mainly bcoz:-

beautiful scenery, typical of korean shows
tear-jerking plot, also typical of korean shows
predicatable twist of plot, also typical of korean shows


it was supposed to be so damn touching
but i didn't even shed a tear
ok la, only one bit
i seem to be crying at the wrong times these days


cry when i shower
cry when i listen to music
cry when i watch comedies

HAPPIE BIRTHDAY, DUDE!


it kenneth's birthday, and we have lots of people around.
the usual suspects - ping, andrew, mund, ds, myself plus ganni, tonghao, weicong


we crapped the night away, with Ganni still brooding over one strand out of his entire plate of $4 hong kong mee which he vomitted after excessive drinking.
did i say excessive.. then again maybe not..


after Tonghao let us alight opposite the library,


they continued the session at Ds' place.
